Some of the methods that a business can use to assess the business performance are SWOT analysis, sales analysis, financial analysis and etc. These methods can help a business to build a clear image about the business’s current situation and it helps in taking future decisions. MagsRus Recreational Magazines business is using the sales analysis method to consider the business performance. This method is used to evaluate the sales performance of the business in 2014 and 2015. The above chart shows the number of subscriptions that MagsRus has sold in 2014 and 2015. There are 8 categories of magazines which are sold by MagsRus and chart shows the quarterly subscription by product over the 2 years. As per the sales data Gardening and Do-it-yourself categories indicate an improvement in sales and Motor vehicle category has revealed a huge decline in number of subscriptions in sales. After quarter 2 in 2014 the sales have declined from units 4521 to 2500. And the other categories also showing a decline of sales from 2014 to end of 2015.
